I am amazed at what experts are telling people!

In looking over the internet to find out what other people know about building a Network Marketing Business I am shocked! 

I typed into the google search bar "How to get people to say yes in Network Marketing" and I a amazed at what I found. I found people telling others to use the internet and build lead capture pages to generate leads then email people to get information… UGH! 

No one is talking about when you run into someone through your course of daily events, how to get them to say yes. What if someone is not a computer expert, or doesn't sit in their house all day staring at a computer screen. 

There are two main assumptions that are made here. One that you are a computer geek and two that you never leave your office. What about the people who are not a geek, then they are not able to be successful in Network Marketing. Thats crazy!

Everyone thinks that they need to get leads and email them or call them. Do you realize how worthless these leads are? How many times the people in those lead banks get called? It's nuts!

If you could get every person that you bump into on a daily basis to ask for more information and say YES would you ever need a cold lead or squeeze page on the internet? The answer is no! 

To get someone to say yes and ask for more info is easy. You just use benefit statements and skills to get to that point. Many years ago I took a course that was put out by Zerox called Professional Sellings Skills. It incorporated Intial benefits statements into an opening dialogue which gets agreement with the person you are talking with. Whether a stranger of friend before they know it they are asking for more information. 

The course has since gone by the wayside but the principals are there. You didn't have to be a sales person to use the skills as a mater of fact the less you knew about sales the better. What ended up happening was when you were talking to anyone there subconscious mind decided that they wanted more information since what they were hearing was uniquely presented to them.

Are You Learning The Right Stuff?

How many times have you joined a Network Marketing Company? Once, twice, or never? 

If you are new to Network Marketing or been working with it for a while i bet in all cases you have not been trained in how to speak to strangers and get them to ask you for more information. When I speak with people who are either in Network Marketing or have tried it and gotten out in almost all cases they said the Network Marketing Company they joined never taught them how to speak to strangers and present their programs. 

When they tried they made people mad and created ill feelings. We call that "Barfing" information all over people and people don't like that. There is a skill that we can teach you that will enable you to be speaking with a total stranger and through the course of the conversation they will ask you for information. 

Here is part of the why this problem exist. You are going to laugh! When you were young you were told by your parents "Never talk to strangers" so what are you most affraid of? Talking to strangers! Rarely, will people say hi to others! How many times have you see someone walk down the street and say hello to someone else and the other person dosen't even acknowledge them! It gets written off as people being shy or stand offish. 

Remember when you were young and you went to a dance with boys and girls and the boys stood on one side of the room and the girls on the other. No one would speak with each other. This is a carry over from "don't talk to strangers" message. As you got older you would learn how to talk to a new person but had to push yourself. If you knew what to say it made it easier, and usually small talk makes it even easier. It takes a rare person to walk up to a stranger and just start talking and an even rarer person who can get them to listen to what they are saying, but people do it all the time. Anyway, I hope that you get my point.

The Network Marketing Companies are suffering from the same problem so they don't specifically teach you how to present your company to strangers. Who runs the Network Marketing Companies? People who were told not to talk to strangers. They don't know how to help others with this difficult task because they haven't learned the skill themselves. 

So what do they do? The put together great presentations that enable people to present the products and company to others, who are willing to listen. The problem is that it's hard to get people to listen without understanding the SKILL. There is no secret to Network Marketing and if anyone tells you there is they don't really understand this business. It's just SKILL, and it's capitalized for a reason. It's the most important one!

People Saying "YES"


Many Network Marketing Companies are excellent at teaching their distributors about establishing WHY they are in the Networking Business and everything they need to know about product knowledge. The also are wonderful in teaching distributors about how to make an excellent presentation to someone who is willing to understand but they drop the ball in teaching people how to talk efectively to a stranger. 

This is not utopia, there are definate skills that you can learn enabling you to be able to speak with a stranger and get them to ask for more information and then say "YES" to the company you are promoting. 

These skills are esaily learned and are already known by many of the successful Network Marketers but for some reason are not shared with others. Many of the successful Networkers acquired these skills, but are not aware that they know them. Through persistance and trial and error they managed to acquire the skills of talking to others but because they were not taught directly to them they are unaware that they need to teach them to others. 

The many successful Networkers are experts at communicating with strangers and have learned the skills of how to do this over time simply by putting up with massive rejection and having the persistance to stay the course. So when a person joins a Network Marketing Company they are taught all about the products and how to present to a willing participant but when they run up against rejection they get frustrated and quit. 

This is unfair! Since Network Marketing seems to be only for the people who have the ability to put up with massive rejection and have the persistence to constantly keep coming back for more rejection until they are able to learn how to work around the skill of talking to strangers. They learn how to blow off the people who reject them and only deal with the people who will listen. Therefore, the process becomes a qiant culling out process of weeding the people who will not listen out of the people who will listen. 

So the people who reject the presentation miss out and the majority of the people who join Network Marketing quit out of frustration. It Does Not Have To Be This Way!
